Thank you for an outstanding evening! Everyone at the Plimsoll Club was so kind and helpful. We truly enjoyed our evening and hope we can do it again next year.

Thank you!!!

CONGRATULATIONS & THANKS!

Reciprocal Club Highlight: THE CORNELL CLUB

By now, you should have received a copy of the new Reciprocal Club Directory which was sent with your annual dues renewal. We are pleased to announce that we have added the Cornell Club in New York City and the Union Club in Panama to our reciprocal club program.

The Cornell Club was formed by Cornell University graduates in 1889. Today’s handsome 14-story clubhouse is centrally located in midtown Manhattan at 6 East 44th Street, between Fifth & Madison Avenues. The Club prides itself on offering members and guests more than a prime location and first-class facilities.

Some of which include:

• Enjoying a comfortable overnight stay in one of 48 guest rooms

• Relaxation in the quiet Andrew Dickson White Library

• Using the convenient Business Center for last minute office needs

• Hosting receptions and business meetings in the private conference and banquet facilities

• Attending fun-filled social events and interesting lectures

• Experiencing fine dining in The Cayuga Room with elegant cuisine and select wines

• Meeting for cocktails or an impromptu meal in the Big Red Tap & Grill

• A therapeutic workout or massage in the Health & Fitness Center

For more information, please contact Membership Director Natalie Rideau at 529-1601 ext. 226 or Membership Assistant Carolyn Hightower at ext. 220.

Join in the Campaign and Picture Yourself in Paris!

Did you know that last year our grand prize winner in the Membership Campaign sponsored only eight members to win?

This year our winner will receive two round-trip economy tickets to Paris with a three-night stay at the luxurious Meridien Monparnasse.

Believe it or not, it is not too late to play! Over the years we’ve seen winners appear out of nowhere and sponsor all their members during the last month of the contest. Why not try? Send us your lists of prospective members and get in the running! Fax: 529-1691 or email: nrideau@wtcno.org.

For further information and updates on who is winning, call Natalie Rideau at 529-1601, ext. 226 or visit our website at www.wtcno.org.

Call the Plimsoll Club about Holiday Parties!

Christmas is just around the corner and the time has come to book your holiday parties at the Plimsoll Club. We have very few available weekend dates left for evening parties, so please call Karen Eckman or Pam Babin at 529-1701 right away to reserve space for your holiday bash. In keeping with the holiday spirit, we have a special offer for holiday office luncheons during the month of December. We will give everyone in attendance a complimentary glass of champagne with dessert. In addition, we will organize a drawing for a Plimsoll Club apron which is royal blue with white lettering and piping. This offer applies only to luncheons held in private rooms with a banquet menu served. Group luncheons in the main dining room or those selecting the a la carte menu or buffet are excluded from this offer.

Take A Prospective Member To Lunch Free!

Members may invite prospective members to experience the Plimsoll Club’s world-class lunch buffet free of charge through December. (Please note that only one buffet meal per reservation will be complimentary. A la carte dining and beverages are not included and discounts are not available for special event luncheons.) Contact Membership Director Natalie Rideau or Marketing Assistant Carolyn Hightower at 529-1601 ext. 226 or ext. 220 to set up your lunch reservations.

Check Your Lucky Draw

Congratulations to Maria Hymel! You are the recipient of dinner for two with cocktails during the months of December or January. Special events are excepted. Call the Plimsoll Club at 529-1701 for details and reservations. Watch for your name in the next membership draw. You could be a winner, too!

Try Our Early Evening Dinner Before Shopping

Downtown shopping with friends and family during the holiday season? Why not meet at the Plimsoll Club and try our Early Evening menu before you hit the stores. Available from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays through Thursdays, our Early Evening dinner allows you plenty of time for shopping. And the low price of only $15.75 leaves you extra money for holiday purchases. Call the Plimsoll Club at 529-1701 for reservations.
