| RECIPROCAL CLUB PROFILE: CITY CLUB OF BATON ROUGE | ||||||||
| The
City Club, which resides in a magnificent Italian Renaissance building
dating back to 1894, was formerly a post office and federal courthouse. In
1910, President William Howard Taft was honored at a reception there and
said "This building represents one of the finest examples of modern
architecture today".
After many years of service as a federal building, and later as city-parish offices, the building was remodeled to become the City Club of Baton Rouge. Combining a rich history with longstanding traditions of good food and fellowship, the City Club offers WTC New Orleans members a wonderful venue for entertaining. For further information on the City Club of Baton Rouge, other clubs in the network, or to request a Reciprocal Clubs Directory, call Vanessa Bailey at 529-1601, ext. 234.
