Dennis Kelly to Head Delegation to October WTCA Meeting in Boston

The World Trade Centers Association Spring Meeting in Trieste proved to be a very productive and enjoyable opportunity for over 500 participants representing almost every region of the world, including four delegates from WTC New Orleans.

These WTCA meetings are excellent networking vehicles for WTC members interested in international trade, tourism and economic development.

WTC New Orleans President Dennis Kelly invites you to consider joining him at the next WTCA General Assembly, which will be held in Boston on October 15 18.

This is an excellent way to make useful business contacts with executives from all over the world and have one-on-one matchmaking appointments with other attendees.

The trade mission aspect of the Boston meeting will focus on high tech industries, technology and its effects on trade.

For more information, please contact Membership Director Natalie Rideau by phone at 529-1601, ext. 226, or via e-mail at nrideau@wtcno.org.

Under 35 Network Spearheads Campaign for the Homeless

The Under 35 Network is a committee of young WTC members who meet regularly to organize events and programs of interest for our younger members.

The Committee has hosted several networking events over the year for the Under 35 members to meet each other and members of other business and professional organizations.

On Friday, September 1, the Under 35 Network will be launching a campaign to collect toiletry items for homeless shelters in New Orleans.

These shelters have expressed a strong interest in obtaining soap, shampoo and other personal care products to help service the basic needs of the homeless.

The Under 35 Network's goal is to benefit three local shelters for homeless men, women and children.

Toiletry items will be collected at the WTC's 29th Floor Executive Office from September 1 to November 4 and will be delivered to the shelters the week before Thanksgiving.

After business hours and on weekends, items will be collected at the WTC Lobby information desk.

For more information, please contact Membership Marketing Assistant Vanessa Bailey by phone at 529-1601, ext. 234, or by e-mail at vbailey@wtc no.org.
