WTCNO Receives Quality Certifications from WTCA

In late March, Penelope Menzies (Executive Director of WTC Baltimore) and Robert Frueh (Executive Director of WTC St. Louis) visited WTC New Orleans as part of a worldwide initiative to certify World Trade Center facilities, programs and services.

The purpose of the certification process conducted by the World Trade Centers Association is to ensure that all WTCs maintain high-quality standards on a uniform global basis.

As a result of this review, we are very pleased to announce that WTC New Orleans was certified in five key areas: WTC Club, Tenant Services, Trade Education, Group Trade Missions and Trade Information Services.

In addition, the Plimsoll Club was featured as a case study at last month's WTCA Spring Meeting in Trieste, Italy, as well as in the new World Trade Centers Association Handbook.

WTC New Orleans is one of only 10 trade centers in the U.S. to have received certification to date by the WTCA.
