Club for an Easter Jazz Brunch on Sunday, April 23.
We'll
have baskets of bounty on the buffet, including an omelette station,
soup station, baked ham, seafood crepes, roast prime rib, peeled
shrimp, eggs sardou, poached salmon, strawberry blintzes, cafe brulot,
and a dessert table that's sure to tickle your taste buds.
The
cost of this fabulous buffet is only $30.95 for adults and $12.75
for children under 10.
During
the event, you'll be entertained by The Storyville Stompers soft
jazz trio and we'll have a balloon artist on hand for the kids.
We'll also organize a drawing for the kids to win Easter bunnies!

Early Menu Before Going Out on the Town
Going to the theatre, the symphony
or just enjoying a night on the town?
We
offer a delicious Early Evening menu from 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
on Tuesdays through Thursdays when our a la carte dinner is offered.
Our
Early Evening menu begins with starters such as crawfish cake with
tartar sauce, grilled andouille sausage with turnip greens and black-eyed
peas, soup du jour, and Caesar and Plimsoll salads.
Our
main courses include daily selections of specially prepared chicken,
fish and veal.
Desserts
include carrot cake, sherbet du jour, chocolate mousse or bread
pudding with praline sauce, etc.
The

Hong
Kong Trade Official to Speak at April 4 Breakfast
James
Yuen, Director of the Chicago Office of the Hong Kong Trade Development
Council (TDC), will conduct a breakfast briefing on "China and Hong
Kong: Business Opportunities in the New Millennium" on Tuesday,
April 4 in the WTC's 29th floor Board Room.
Yuen
began his career with the TDC in 1980 and has held numerous trade
promotion positions in Hong Kong and abroad.
As
Director of the Chicago Office since 1989, he is the Regional Head
of the Council for 19 Midwestern states.

John
Laborde to Receive Bertel Award
On
Friday, April 7, John P. Laborde, Chairman Emeritus of Tidewater,
Inc., will be the honored recipient of the C. Alvin Bertel Award
at a luncheon at the Plimsoll Club for his outstanding contribution
to the advancement of the Greater New Orleans port area.
The
Selection Committee for the Bertel Award is comprised of the presidents
of 11 organizations, including the WTC.
