The
Plimsoll Club cordially invites you to enjoy A Gourmet Dinner &
Wine
Tasting on October 23
We
are delighted to announce the Plimsoll Club's third Gourmet Dinner
& Wine Tasting for 1999 to be held on Saturday, October 23 at
7:15 p.m.
Our
theme is "The Wines of Burgundy" and we will feature wines
from Labouré-Roi.
The
House of Labouré-Roi began in 1832, when two gentlemen from
Nuits St. Georges, Labouré and Roi, became negociants of
fine Burgundy wines. Louis and Armand Cottin bought it in 1974 from
Robert Jeanniard, a descendent of the original owners who remained
honorary president and consultant. The Cottins come from a line
of wine people.
Max
Zander, wine expert, will lead you through this gastronomical experience.
We
begin with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, then the gourmet dinner
which features Brian O'Neill on the piano.
The
cost of the evening is only 79.50 per person. Make reservations
by calling Mirela Hodge or Marc Garcia at 529-1701. Cancellations
must be made no later than noon on Thursday, October
21, or full billing will apply. As always, we offer complimentary
validated parking in the WTC garage.
