"I would like to thank the Plimsoll Club staff on behalf of the entire New Orleans Coast Guard Officers' Association for their efforts in coordinating our Valentines Luncheon on February 11. I received many comments on the great food, service and, of course, the beautiful dining room and breathtaking view.

"I sincerely appreciate your consideration and flexibility in working with me firming up the details involved in hosting even a small event like ours. Your professionalism and cooperative attitude made the event a success. Once again, thanks for your outstanding support. We hope to schedule future luncheons at your fine facility."

Spotlight on WTC Benefits: Reciprocal Clubs

The WTC is receiving lots of positive feedback as more and more members discover wonderful dining experiences and amenities at the 95 reciprocal clubs in North America.

As you make your travel plans, be sure to remember these tips for utilizing the reciprocal club program:

    • Contact Membership Manager Natalie Rideau at (504) 529-1601, ext. 226, in advance so she can send a letter of introduction on your behalf to the clubs of your choice. Please note that all private reciprocal clubs require such notification, while WTC and 10-K Clubs do not.

    • Contact the reciprocal club directly for dining reservations, guest room accommodations (if applicable), and any other pertinent information such as parking availability and preferred method of payment. Many clubs will bill directly to your WTC New Orleans account.

    • When planning to use a club hotel in the 10-K Network (which is a free enrollment for WTC members), be sure to check the expiration date of your 10-K membership and entertainment cards. 10-K memberships expire annually and must be reinstated by calling the WTC Membership Department at (504) 529-1601, ext. 226. A three-week waiting period is necessary for renewal and shipment of catalogs and cards.

    • Take your WTC membership card with you when traveling for identification and account number reference.

    • Contact the Membership Department if you would like to receive another copy of the Reciprocal Club Directory, or if you have any questions about any of the services, facilities or publications listed above.
