Mixer set for November 5
Join fellow WTC
members and other international business colleagues for an
"International Mixer" on Thursday, November 5 from 5:30 p.m.
until 7:30 p.m. at the Plimsoll Club
The WTC, in conjunction with seven other international trade and
transportation organizations, will host this lively networking event,
with members of the Consular Corps of New Orleans as our special
guests.
Enjoy complimentary hors d'oeuvres, a cash bar, free parking, door
prizes and great networking with the following international trade
organizations:
- International Freight Forwarders & Customs Brokers
Association;
- New Orleans Air Cargo Association;
- New Orleans Board of Trade;

Thanksgiving at the Plimsoll Club
The Plimsoll
Club's traditional holiday fare of turkey and stuffing, cranberry
sauce, lamb, salmon, prime rib, and bountiful desserts will top the
buffet table for a Thanksgiving Day feast on November 26 that you
won't want to miss.
To accommodate as many members as possible, the Club's seatings
will be at 11:45 a.m. and 2:45 p.m.
For your entertainment, a classical trio will perform. A balloon
sculpture artist will also be on hand, especially for the kids.
The cost of this fabulous event is $31.95 for adults and $12.50 for
children under 10.
Make reservations early. This annual event at the Plimsoll Club is
always a sellout! Call Claire Stockton at 529-1701 from 9:00 a.m. to
4:00 p.m. or Marc Garcia after 4:00 p.m.
Cancellations must be received by noon on Tuesday, November 24 to
avoid billing to your account.

Requirements
As a reminder,
the Plimsoll Club's dress code requires a sports coat and slacks for
lunch and a coat and tie for dinner.
No jeans, shorts or skorts are allowed.
Please remind your guests and friends when they use your membership
that these rules apply.

The WTC's annual
membership campaign has begun!
The member sponsoring the most new members between now and December
31 will win the Gold! -- two round trip tickets to San Jose, Costa
Rica, three nights at the luxurious Herradura Hotel and Conference

National Park and Sarchi Oxcart Factory, compliments of Nature Tours.
The second place winner will enjoy a complimentary dinner and

Christmas is
just around the corner and the time has come to book your holiday
parties at the Plimsoll Club. We have very few available weekend dates
left for evening parties, so call Pam Corrigan or Margie Ellinghausen
at 529-1701 right away to reserve space for your holiday bash.
In keeping with the holiday spirit, we have a special offer for
holiday office luncheons during the month of December. We'll give
everyone in attendance a complimentary glass of champagne with
dessert. In addition, we'll organize a drawing for a Plimsoll Club
apron colored royal blue with white lettering and piping.
This offer applies only to luncheons held in private rooms with a
banquet menu served. Group luncheons in the main dining room or those
