New Trade Directory Now Available
The World Trade Center, in cooperation with the Louisiana
Department of Economic Development and the Delta U.S. Export Assistance
Center, has published the 1998 Louisiana International Trade Directory.
The new edition of the Directory contains more than 1,900 listings of
Louisiana exporters and importers throughout the state, as well as a host
of allied service industries such as ports and airports, steamship agencies,
freight forwarders and customs brokers, international banks, chambers of
commerce, foreign consulates, consultants, attorneys, and many other categories.
Many new listings have been added to the Directory since its last publication
one year ago, making it the most complete and up-to-date resource of information
on international business in Louisiana.
The Directory is available in hard copy, on diskette, or mailing labels.

Sample Early Menu Before Going Out
Going to the theatre or the symphony?
We offer a delicious Early Evening menu from 5:30 p.m. 6:30 p.m. on
Tuesdays through Thursdays when a la carte dinner is offered.
Our Early Evening menu begins with starters such as crawfish cake with
tartar sauce, grilled andouille sausage with turnip greens and black-eyed
peas, soup du jour and Caesar and Plimsoll salads.
Our main courses provide a choice of Chicken Lafitte, Tilapia Pecan
or Veal Piccata. Desserts include carrot cake, sherbert du jour, chocolate
mousse or bread pudding with praline sauce.
The cost is $13.95 per person. Two hours of complimentary validated
parking is included in this special price.

Tennis Tournament Winner's Circle
On November 19 at the Hilton's Rivercenter Racquet and Health Club,
WTC members and friends gathered together for a doubles round robin tennis
tournament.
In the Men's Division, Haris Tsaoussidis and Ruperto Chavarri claimed
first and second prize while the tournament's Women's Division champions,
Kitty Spara-cello and Cathy Chavarri, earned first and second place.
Our thanks go out to all of the participants for their enthusiasm and
support of the tournament.
