Members' Luncheon and Dinner Services:
The
Plimsoll Club offers a luncheon to the WTC New Orleans membership Monday
through Friday, featuring a sumptuous buffet, in addition to our many a la
carte selections. Dinner is served Tuesday through Saturday, showcasing a
fabulous table d'hote menu and an
early evening menu Tuesday through Thursday. The Main Bar is open Tuesday
through Saturday. A monthly newsletter, TradeWinds,
is sent to the membership detailing special member events at the Plimsoll
Club, as well as membership
benefits, activities and trade programs.
Special Functions: Private
dining rooms are available by reservation seven days a week for banquet events such as meetings, breakfasts,
luncheons, dinners, cocktail receptions, weddings and other special
events. We encourage non-members to use our elegantly appointed venue for banquet
functions.
Dress Code: Gentlemen
are requested to wear a coat and tie for dinner. Coat and sport
shirt ensembles are permitted for lunch, Monday through Thursday, with a
relaxed casual dress code for ladies and gentlemen on Fridays for lunch
only (please no shorts, skorts, jeans, t-shirts or tennis shoes).
Ladies are expected to wear appropriate business or evening attire for all
other occasions. All federal, state and municipal
personnel will be admitted to the dining rooms in their respective
regulation uniforms. On the observance of the National Day of foreign
countries, foreign nationals may wear their national costumes or dress as
customarily considered appropriate in their countries.
Minors: Children
under 12 years of age are not allowed in the dining rooms, and those under
18 are not allowed in the bars unless the rooms are being used for private
functions or special events which have been announced as exceptions
beforehand.
Parking: Parking is
complimentary in the WTC garage for anyone dining or attending a banquet
luncheon or dinner at the Club. The garage is adjacent to the Hilton Hotel
on Poydras Street. Parking tickets must be validated by the Club
receptionist. Complimentary lunch and dinner parking is also available on
a limited basis in the side lot next to the WTC building by calling the
Plimsoll Club receptionist and reserving a space.
World Trade Center Reciprocity: Reciprocal WTC Club
privileges and trade services are in effect in more than 400 cities
throughout the world for WTC/NO members.
